Gold Coast reef fishing during August featured quality Snapper conditions. Squire normally congregate in Moreton Bay this time of year, but not in 2015, instead choosing to congregate in the offshore reefs instead. This ensured good times for many of the Gold Coast fishing charters frequenting the offshore reefs. Some impressively large fish were also landed - more details below.
Avenger Fishing Charters Gold Coast landed surely the biggest Cobia/Blackfish of the season. This whopping fish weighed in at 27kg (60 pounds) and was landed by a first time fishing. This was a fine effort considering it was a 50 minute fight on 35 pound line!
