Gold Coast fishing guru Brad Smith has been operating calm water fishing charters on the Gold Coast for more than 20 years. Brad's "No fish and your money back" policy means you are guaranteed to not be disappointed! Brad and his team have unrivalled local knowledge fishing the calm waterways Gold Coast, targeting a huge range of species, using lures and baits. Two purpose built fishing boats allow personalised trips for groups of one to five anglers. All trips include fishing tackle and expert tuition for anglers of all levels. Brad Smith's Fishing Charters operate two boats. The "Edgetracker" is designed to take one or two anglers for personalised lure and fly fishing trips. She boasts a quiet four-stroke motor, fish finder and casting deck. The larger "Reel Time" boat handles up to four anglers and is designed for both lure and bait fishing. She has four-stroke and electric motors, live bait well, padded seating, large esky storage, centre console and a shade roof. Toilet stops are available on all trips when required.

Fishing charter trips run for eight hours and open up hundreds of KMs of waterways suitable for lure, sportsfishing, fly and bait fishing. Target species include Flathead, Bream, Whiting, Tailor, Trevally, Jew and of course the mighty Mangrove Jack.

Expert fishing tuition is provided along with all fishing tackle, bait and iced water. BYO food, drinks, camera, sunscreen, camera, and jacket in the cooler months. BYO alcohol is ok - responsible drinking is required. Hotel pickup is available upon request.

Review: We had a great day out .. our guide did everything to search out the fish - he worked hard on a day when a storm was rolling in. My nephew (and his father for that matter) came away raving about their first fishing trip. My nephew was able to reel in a selection of species, and they both want to return very soon. Thanks for your hard work and your willingness to share your knowledge and techniques

Review: [Father and 5 year old son] caught over 30 fish and 7 different species. The little bloke started crying at the end as he wanted to keep on fishing.
