Adelaide fishing charter your after? Keen to travel offshore from Glenelg to fishing grounds out of reach to the trailerboat masses? Then Absolute Fishing Charters is for you. Located in the Holdfast Shores Marina, Glenelg, Absolute Fishing Charters are only a 10 minute drive from the Adelaide CBD. We offer 4hr and 8hr Local Charters, 11hr Full Day Offshore Charters and 3 Day Liveaboard Charters. Our 46ft Custom built charter vessel "REEL THERAPY" was designed with passenger comfort in mind. She is equipped with the latest electronics available including 3D ocean floor mapping. On our charters we target Snapper to 15kg(30lbs) and King George Whiting to 1kg. We cater for all anglers from first timers too experienced. Large groups or individuals are welcome. Our skipper Ryan(Master5/Skipper Grade 3, MED 2)and his crew Dave, will stop at nothing to ensure you have a day to remember.

Half Day Local 4 Hours GROUP BOOKING ONLY (MIN 8 PPL) This 4hr package fishing grounds relatively close to our base at Glenelg is the perfect opportunity for a group new to fishing to jump aboard and give it a go. This charter is also suited to a corporate group looking for a fun social activity which encourages conversation and maintains the group structure. With dolphins to watch, great coastal scenery and four hour duration this charter offers something for everyone in your group, even the non-fishers. Another great feature of this trip is that in most cases you can choose the departure time. Species we will encounter include King George Whiting, Snapper (seasonal), Squid, Blue Crabs, Snook and Garfish. Catering available upon request.

Full Day Local 8 Hours This eight hour package will offer a solid days fishing along Adelaide’s metro coast and up to ten miles offshore. A great family friendly charter it is suited to both novice and experienced anglers. Grounds such as Clary’s, Grange and Glenelg Tyre Reefs, Kemps, Flo’s and Seacliff Reef will be visited along with many more. As we remain in local waters this is a great charter for the kids due to the fact our lines are in the water most of the day. Species we will encounter include Snapper (seasonal) along with South Australia’s famous King George Whiting, Garfish, Calamari, Snook, Small Sharks, Trevally and Blue Swimmer Crabs. Individual and group bookings welcome. Catering is available on request.

Full Day Offshore 11 Hours This 11 hour charter is the most popular of our day charters. This package is suited to both novice and experienced anglers providing those aboard with the chance to hook a trophy sized Snapper. The day is kicked off with a comfortable trip South West across St Vincent Gulf. On arrival at Tapley’s Shoal clients will be grouped on the rear deck for a short brief by “Reel Therapy” deckhand Dave. Once Dave is satisfied everyone is ready to fish, away we go. We will fish the Shoals for the entire day only having to move short distances to change spots returning to Glenelg 11 hours after departure time. On most occasions big Snapper will be our target species along with extra-large King George Whiting. Due to the fact this is a remote location and is out of reach to most trailer boat owners it isn’t as susceptible to fishing pressure as some of the grounds around Adelaide. During the warmer months it is not uncommon to encounter Snapper weighing up to 13 kilograms and measuring over a meter. This area is also well known for its 1 kilogram King George Whiting. Other species we encounter are School Shark, Silver Trevally, Flathead, Snook and reef fish. White Sharks may also be sighted during the peak of Snapper season. This charter is 11 hours as it does contain some travel time to and from the grounds. Individual and group bookings welcome. Catering is available on request.

3 Day Charter If the idea of visiting isolated locations and tackling with some of South Australia’s best game fish gets your blood pumping then this is the charter for you. Departing from the picturesque Coffin Bay, these 3 day trips take fishing to that next level. Yellowtail Kingfish, Samson Fish, Southern Bluefin Tuna and Mako Sharks are just some of the species targeted around the offshore islands of Greenly and Rocky. With customer comfort and service a priority, group sizes are capped at 6 ensuring plenty of fishing space. Meals and drinks are included as is fishing gear. A walk on walk off package this charter is well suited to those visiting from outside South Australia with Pt Lincoln airport only a short drive from Coffin Bay, where you will join the boat for an experience you will never forget. Charters run February, March, April and May.
